Biography

Michelle Fiore, Soprano, actively performs in the Coachella Valley.  She was awarded the 2019 Desert Theater League's Outstanding Supporting Female Performer - Cabaret/Revue for her role as Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera. She is the 2018 Audience Favorite & Second Place winner in the McCallum Open Call Talent Competition. She recently was a part of the improvisational experience - Transformance Ritual and Blessing with Simeon Den and Tim McLaughlin for the Artists Center at the Galen, and is currently working on upcoming projects...stay tuned!  

Ms. Fiore sang with  from MET to BROADWAY.  She is a founding member of the Coachella Valley Classical Voices (CVCV).  She sings with Desert Outreach Synagogue, and  is the Soloist for The First Church of Christ Scientist in Palm Desert.  She has also sung with St. John's Festival Singers, Desert Chamber Friends, Desert Winds Freedom Band, Black Tie Opera, Melodiam, and California Desert Chorale, as well as several churches throughout the Coachella Valley. She is the former soloist for the First Church of Christ Scientist in Palm Springs and former Cantor for St. Cecilia Catholic Community Church. She has also sung 2 sold out concerts at the Coachella Valley Repertory Theater.  Ms, Fiore has also made appearances at several local events, including the Tour de Palm Springs and Hot Rodeo and performed charitable work for the Well in the Desert, Katherine Finchy Elementary School, and other organzations.  She has also sung for AmDOCS (The American Documentary and Animation Film Festival) and the Palm Springs Opera Guild.

Ms. Fiore worked on her Artist Diploma at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and completed her Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music (MSM). She received her Bachelor of Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has performed the roles of Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera, the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and Soeur Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites. Other roles she has performed are Lisaveta in the concert version of A Month in the Country, La Fee in the concert version of Cendrillon, The Goodwife in The Wise Women, and Beatriz in Christopher Columbus.  

Miss Fiore studied with César Ulloa, Mignon Dunn, George Shirley, Cynthia Donnell, L. Wayne Batty, A. Louise Toppin, Donna Dease, and Eve Ann Eichhorn.

Ms. Fiore feels very fortunate be a Special Education at Katherine Finchy Elementary School in Palm Springs, CA.  Her students are her greatest inspiration.
